Our Story
The owner and operator of JMB Catering, Josh Benavides, is a proud Central Texas native whose passion for culinary excellence began at an early age. Raised around his grandparents’ beloved restaurant, Mi Familia in Beeville, Texas, Josh developed a deep appreciation for the power of food to bring people together and create lasting memories.
From the rich aroma of spices filling the kitchen to the joy and satisfaction reflected on guests’ faces with every first bite, these formative experiences left a lasting impression on him. Watching his grandmother prepare each dish with care, authenticity, and heart inspired Josh to pursue a career devoted to hospitality and exceptional cuisine. Today, he carries that same passion and dedication into every event JMB Catering serves.
Josh further refined his craft at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Austin, Texas, where he graduated with Top Honors. His commitment to quality, genuine hospitality, and elevated culinary experiences remains at the heart of JMB Catering.
