About Us
JMB Catering is a professional, full-service catering company. We are dedicated to providing outstanding southern hospitality and service. Based in Austin, TX, we strive to put our client's needs first and exceed expectations.
The owner and operator of JMB Catering, Josh Benavides, was born and raised in Central Texas. His passion for cooking began at a young age, growing up around his grandparents' restaurant Mi Familia, located in Beeville, TX.
Experiences like the aroma of various spices that lingered in the air and the expression of pure delight on the guests' faces after taking the first bite, made a significant impression on Josh. Growing up immersed in this environment, witnessing firsthand the passion and authenticity that his grandmother put into each dish, he knew that this was his calling. That same passion and authenticity are what he aspires to bring to each catering event.
Josh attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Austin, TX, and graduated with Top Honors.

What JMB Stands For
JMB Catering is derived from Josh's initials and his intent to put that personalized touch to each dish. "Just Made Better" is the spirit that Josh and his team pour into every event.
